FLUX 3 video settings, explained

FLUX 3 gives you four decisions before every render: length, resolution, shape and audio. Choosing them deliberately saves credits and gets you a usable shot sooner.

In short

  • Duration: 5, 10, 15 or 20 seconds.
  • Resolution: 720p for iteration, 1080p for the final version.
  • Aspect ratio: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3 or 3:4.
  • Native audio is on by default and can be turned off for silent clips.

Duration: start short

A 5-second test tells you whether the action, camera and sound read correctly. Move to 10–20 seconds when the shot needs room for a full action or a line of dialogue to land.

Resolution: 720p or 1080p

Use 720p while you are still changing the prompt. Switch to 1080p only for the version you intend to publish or edit — higher resolution costs more credits.

Aspect ratio: match the destination

  • 16:9 — landscape players, presentations, YouTube.
  • 9:16 — vertical feeds such as Reels, Shorts and TikTok.
  • 1:1 — square placements and some ad slots.
  • 4:3 and 3:4 — editorial and portrait layouts.

Audio: on or off

FLUX 3 can generate dialogue, ambience and sound effects on the same timeline as the picture. Leave audio on and describe the sound in your prompt, or turn it off when you plan to add music in an editor.

What this generator includes

Here FLUX 3 runs as Text to Video and Image to Video, selected by default. Video extension and Draft & Enhance are part of the wider FLUX 3 capability set; the selector shows exactly which routes you can run here.
